At Diversified Energy Company (DEC), we don’t just operate wells in the local communities - we contribute to municipal and public services, non-profit and charitable agencies, and educational systems. In other words, these communities are also where we live and play, and we want our actions and economic contributions to make a difference.
Our investment in these communities goes beyond employment opportunities, as our company provides financial support and our employees volunteer their time and service in support of community initiatives. For example, DEC donated funds and labor to the Kanawha State Forest Foundation to aid in building a playground for children with disabilities, the first playground of its kind in the West Virginia state park system. The playground included a wheelchair-accessible swing and other ADA-compliant equipment, a braille activity board and rubber mulch to provide fall protection. Combining a company initiative to promote employee good health while supporting the children in our communities, DEC also donated funds to the Children’s Harbor organization in Alabama which provides counseling and other services to seriously-ill patients and their families.

Our Company is committed to giving back to the communities in which we operate. An integral part of this commitment is our support of educational and scholarship programs which assist local students in their pursuit and preparation for higher education or vocational training. Our desire is that this investment in education will encourage and equip students for a potential career in the oil and gas industry with the goal of attracting talented and qualified young people to Diversified to join our legacy of productivity, innovation and success.
