Diversified Energy Gifts 1,200+ New Coats to Students in Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas
Birmingham, AL – Diversified Energy Company, a natural gas producer with employees and operations in Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas, partnered with Operation Warm to provide more than 1,200 new coats to children across its Central Region operating footprint. In total, Diversified made a $125,000 donation to Operation Warm to provide essential winter clothing to children ahead of this winter season. Participating schools included: J.L. Jones Elementary School in Minden, LA; Nance Elementary School in Clinton, OK; Winds West Elementary School in Oklahoma City, OK; and Washington Heights Elementary School in Fort Worth, TX.

Oftentimes forgotten, having access to essential winter clothing is not only critical for safety, but can be significant in students’ academic performance. This donation will help prepare financially disadvantaged students for the upcoming winter and bring a little cheer this holiday season,” said Grace Sica, Executive Director of Operation Warm.
This is Diversified’s third year volunteering with Operation Warm and brings its total donations to over 6,200 coats, including to students in West Virginia, Ohio, and Pennsylvania, in addition to this year’s coat drives. These donations are part of Diversified Energy’s broader mission to directly support communities across the company’s operating footprint.
