Diversified Energy CEO Rusty Hutson, Jr. Appointed to West Virginia University Board of Governors

This appointment, made by West Virginia Governor Jim Justice, reflects Hutson’s long-time dedication to his home state of West Virginia and commitment to fostering higher education initiatives to support the next generation.
As a member of the WVU Board of Governors, Hutson will contribute to the university’s strategic oversight and governance working to support its mission of excellence in education. Rusty Hutson, Jr. brings extensive experience in financial services and a strong track record of leadership and community engagement to this role. Under his guidance, Diversified Energy has achieved significant 20+ year growth, including over $3.2 billion in acquisitions and attaining milestones such as going public on the London Stock Exchange in 2017, and more recently, a dual listing on the New York Stock Exchange in late 2023.
